Objectives of the visit:  Emergency support and need assessment in 4 Municipality

Following flooding area supported by Ujyalo Nepal for the Drinking water project

1. Bethanchowk Ru. Mu. ward- 5: Ujyalo Nepal team visited ward 5 Dalit Basti Drinking water. Before flooding community using water community taps not for one house one tap. After flooding community facing very hard situation because they have to carry water 100 liter from half an hour distance. Social leader connects with Ujyalo Nepal for the request. Also they have very high budget plan for long term vision but UN have no sufficient balance so just for the emergency case support them only 20 mm 1500 pipe. All total 175 HH benefitted.
2. Panauti Mu. ward-11: As per the request of community UN team visit those place. All total 50 HH suffering from water problem. The mix community living is there Thumki and Madanbash. In the emergency time road access time support many NGOs and others. So social leader Mr Madhab Prasad Nyaupani connect with us. After assessment team provide that community 25 mm 1000 miter pipe.
3. Panchkhal Mu. ward -10, 6 and 8: The Panchkhal Mu. ward 10 and 8 requested to Ujyalo Nepal for various community suffering water problem by heavy raining and flooding. So, as per the request the community UN team has been distributed different size pipe in those wards 6, 8 and 10
4. Temal Ru.Mu. ward-2 and 4: From the flooding Kavre district many areas are effected, died, destroyed house and agriculture land. UN Nepal working are is karvre district so many community municipalities know about Ujyalo Nepal. So, community requested to some drinking water pipe.
