Objectives of the visit: 
Ongoing and completed Drinking water project visit of Ujyalo Nepal.

1. Banepa Drinking water
2. Muldada Drinking water Bethanchowk-2
3. Ramche Drinking water Panchkhal -9
4. Tinghare Drinking water Panchkhal-12

The Ujyalo Nepal Chairman and project coordinator with Donor of Ujyalo Nepal team monitoring the following project which is mentioned on top.

1. Banepa Drinking water: The Punyapani drinking water project of Banepa -2 visit date 22 Oct, 024. Actually project has been completed budgets of Provence, Banepa Mu. and Ujyalo Nepal. Provence and Municipality budget from completed water reserve tank and pipes and taps of 110 House hold support from Ujyalo Nepal. The community are very happy for using water own house. But main problem is the water is not sufficient for the community. The gravity system is very weak so within a week water distributing to user committee. The chairman of DW said 250 ltrs water distributing in a week for one house and water unit examination ongoing so after a month we will fix the rate of unit.

Also committee say we are searching a new gravity system for good water flow. After the festival water engineer invite for the find of water source they have already fix the location but after the result of engineer they will start that work. Therefor committee again request to Ujyalo Nepal for the budget. But Ujyalo Nepal team said we will think about it after this year.

2. Muldada Drinking water Bethanchowk-2: The project has been completed on time but flooding destroyed some location. All user group and committee work again for water continue. The water force is slow near the tank but distance force is very good. The water miter examination is ongoing so after a month committee will decide for the unit price.

Also chairman and community said water is sufficient so in the dry season we will use for vegetable production.  A person will work meter reading and plumbing because committee can’t effort maintenance person.  Monitoring team also feel good after the reaction of committee.

3. Ramche Drinking water Panchkhal -9: As per the committee the water project is successes and ongoing. Also they have one meter reading and daily water pump on and off person. The committee decided 12 units =250 Rs. 75 household using the water.  Daily 7-8 am the water opens a one hour. But water is sufficient so in dry season they use in field for production vegetable. Committee say soon they will have revised the unit price because of saving must need for maintenance.

The secretory of Drinking water committee Mr. Krishan Bahadur BK said soon we will do annual General Meeting and decrease the unit for saving and new unit system will setup.

4. Tinghare Drinking water Panchkhal-12:

The Drinking water was ongoing before heavy raining time. The well was destroyed after raining and flood. The Ward Chairman and drinking water committee commitment again run it. Before that committee must be check the panel board of pump and clean the well. If any problem of committee notices to Ward office and municipality. The ward office, Municipality and committee including community as soon as possible run the water from own house express the feeling of monitoring team.
